Snow Tubing at Whitetail Ridge Ski: Spons by Jockey Being Family: Sparta
January 19 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Come join WiFCC for an evening of snow tubing! This event will take place at Whitetail Ridge Ski Area in Sparta, WI. Our group will have access to the hill from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. This event is open to adoptive, foster, guardianship, relative caregivers, and reunified families and individuals.
Please note: all children must have a parent/guardian present at all times.Riders must be 42 inches or taller and children MUST be able to ride alone on a snow tube.
This event is outdoors, so dress for snow and cold weather! There will be concessions available for purchase. This event is weather dependent and it may be cancelled, postponed, or rescheduled based on scheduled weather in the area or by decisions made by Whitetail Ridge Ski Area Staff.
This event would be a great opportunity to invite your child’s birth/first family or previous foster family. We understand this may not work for all family dynamics but encourage you to consider it. We hope to create an opportunity for children to have all their loved ones in one location whenever possible and create positive memories together. Please have each household register separately. All participants must sign a waiver prior to receiving access to the hill.
If you have any questions, please contact Breanna at bcalko@cclse.org.
This event is being sponsored by Jockey Being Family. To learn more about Jockey Being family, visit their website here: https://www.jockeybeingfamily.com/
Cancellations for events must be made at least 72 hours in advance. If 3 or more late cancellations or no-shows occur within a six-month period, the household’s event registrations in the following six months will default to a waitlist.
