DESCRIPTION:Registration for this event is required on Eventbrite.\n\n\nJoin WiFCC for a fun-filled afternoon at the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum in Milwaukee! \nOur group will participate in the “Be A Maker” session from 11:00am-1:00pm with the workshop Fluid Formations–Chemical reactions are happening all around us. Participants will learn about states of matter\, make observations and put their hypotheses to the test with exciting science experiments. Join us to investigate how common household items can be transformed into ooey gooey creations! This workshop is ideal for kids 4K-4th grade\, but is enjoyable for kids of any age. The workshop is approx. 2 hours\, but you and your family will be able to enjoy the museum for the rest of the afternoon on your own during operating hours.  \nPlease note that all children at this event need to be accompanied by a supervising adult. Food and drink will not be provided by WiFCC but will be available at the museum for individual purchase.  \nThis event would be a great opportunity to invite your child’s birth/first family or previous foster family. Your registration covers up to 5 tickets for your family. You are able to purchase additional tickets the day of the event. The cost of each additional ticket is $25.00. There will be a liability form to be signed before anyone can snow tube. \nThe tubing park offers a conveyor lift to transport you easily to the top of the park. For the safety of all\, everyone must ride in their own tube. We will have the rink reserved for the evening. Each registered skater will receive a free skate rental\, and all attendees (skater or non-skater) will receive a hot cocoa and a snack.  \nThis event will take place from 6pm to 8pm. Lake Ridge Bank River Rink is located in the heart of Monona. This ice rink offers the opportunity to make fun memories and\, not to mention\, an opportunity to show off your skills. Please note there are tickets for skaters and non-skaters. If you will not be skating but plan to attend\, please select a non-skater ticket.  \nDue to the popularity of this event\, please let us know ahead of time if there is any reason you can no longer attend or need fewer tickets than you originally signed up for. Our group will have access to the hill from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. This event is open to adoptive\, foster\, guardianship\, relative caregivers\, and reunified families and individuals. \nPlease note: all children must have a parent/guardian present at all times.Riders must be 42 inches or taller and children MUST be able to ride alone on a snow tube. \nThis event is outdoors\, so dress for snow and cold weather! There will be concessions available for purchase. This event is weather dependent and it may be cancelled\, postponed\, or rescheduled based on scheduled weather in the area or by decisions made by Whitetail Ridge Ski Area Staff. \nThis event would be a great opportunity to invite your child’s birth/first family or previous foster family. We understand this may not work for all family dynamics but encourage you to consider it. We hope to create an opportunity for children to have all their loved ones in one location whenever possible and create positive memories together. Please have each household register separately.
